Merry belated Christmas! I hope you all had a beautiful Christmas with your loved ones. I sure did, even though it was different than any other Christmas I’ve ever had, it was great. Ever since I had started watching YouTube videos and reading blog posts, the hauls of what people received for Christmas and their birthday were some of my favorite things to watch or read. I just think it is so cool to see what other people had on their wish lists and what things they received and what people decided to get them just based on their knowledge of the person.
So today, I would like to show you what I received for Christmas from my friends and family. I am so unbelievably grateful for what I received, and to have these people in my life who felt like they needed to get me something, even though they didn’t need to at all.
I got these Lush products from my friend, Sophie. She informed me she got me Cup O’Coffee specifically because she knows about my coffee obsession. I really love this product, so if you’re interested you can find it here, even though currently it is out of stock.
She also got me this Snow Fairy shower gel that smells like bubblegum because I am always chewing bubblegum. You can find the shower gel here.
She also snagged me a bath bomb, which fun fact, I have never used a bath bomb before. She got me a bath bomb just because bath bombs are cool. I’m excited to try it out. It’s called Christmas Sweater and you can find it here, even though I think it is out of stock as well.
Michael Kors Wallet
I was given this wallet by one of my closest friends. I guess she wanted to get me something nice to say thank you, and I was so surprised. I absolutely love it, and now I have something that she got me I can carry with me everywhere.
This is Acting by Sia & 25 by Adele
I am slowly trying to build up my record collection, and so I felt like I needed these two to join the party. I love Adele’s music and I am obsessed with Sia’s music. Both ladies have such powerful, beautiful voices and have such emotional songs. I am beyond excited that my parents wanted to get them for me.
Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie
I have been compiling a list of books I’ve been wanting to read and this was one of them. I adore Agatha Christie and the way she can create such intriguing mysteries. I also really want to see the movie so there’s that too.
I have decided that in the new year I want to start a bullet journal. I’m the kind of girl that get’s bored of the planner she just bought three months ago. I feel like with a bullet journal, it gives myself the opportunity to be more creative every day and keep myself from buying three or four planners within one year, and yes, that is a true story. I am fully aware of how ridiculous I am. So Merry Christmas to me! I broke down and got myself one and it is on the way. I’m looking forward to sharing with you what I decide to do with it here on the blog and on Instagram, so stay tuned.
My parents decided to do something nice for my sister and I. One of the number one things my sister and I do together is have dance parties. We love to listen to music and dance together, so my parents decided it would be a good idea to get us something to take our dance parties up a notch or make it easier to blast our favorite songs.
Only a few Christmases ago I got my own five-foot tree for my room. So I’ve been having a little bit of a hard time filling it up with special ornaments. I try to buy myself at least a couple new ornaments each year to help fill it in, but I haven’t had much luck finding ornaments that just scream “Katie!! Buy me!!”
This year my friends and family decided to help out and got me a few more ornaments for my tree. And let me tell you, they did GOOD.
This donut tray ornament is from one of my closest friends. She knows how much I love donuts, which I’m sure if you follow me on Instagram, you probably know too.
Dear Dunkin’, I love you.
So she saw this cute little donut tray and just thought of me.
Truck & Trailer
So my dream car is a little red pickup truck. I don’t know what it is, but I just want to drive a pickup truck. Not like a huge one, but a smaller one. I think they are literally the coolest things ever. I love vintage cars so this ornament paired with the matching vintage trailer strung with lights was perfect. Mama knows me so well.
Last but not least, my grandma got this beautiful unicorn ornament. She actually received it as a freebie from Hallmark, but she knew right away that she would give it to me. I needed a little something magical on my tree.
I would like to say a big thank you to my friends and family who were kind enough to put me on their nice list this year. I am so grateful for you and I am so glad you are a part of my life. Merry Christmas!
What was your favorite Christmas gift this year?
Thanks for stopping by,
